If you are like me and treat your pet as family here are some options that may work for you when considering boarding or having in home care for your pets during the holiday season. The Dallas Morning News has put out the winners of the Best Pet Daycare/Boarding in the DFW area.
Doggies Wonderland took home Gold, with locations in Plano and Corinth offering daycare, boarding and grooming. Meanwhile, Lindale’s CMT Critter Sitter LLC earned Silver and Jett Pets in Farmers Brach received Bronze. Of course, before boarding or welcoming a dogsitter into your home, it’s vital to ensure your pets are up-to-date on vaccinations and preventative treatments. CityVet has multiple area locations and won Gold for Best Veterinarian, followed by Dallas Animal Urgent Care (Silver) and Heal Veterinary Hospital (Bronze).
I always recommend to visit a facility before boarding or meet with a professional in home pet sitter prior to using their services.
